Welcome back to Term 1 2016. It is shaping up to be an exciting year. 

We are Team Awa, the Year 3 and 4 learners of Ohaeawai School.

This week the children have been settling into their new classes and learning new routines. They have been working in their groups for writing, reading and maths. In Maths we have been learning about Statistics. We have made tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs. In our topic time we have been learning to be Cyber Smart using Hector’s World, getting ready for next week's Chromebook rollout for Year 4’s and the Year 3’s being introduced to Netbooks.

What a great first week back at school.
